Visit of the Honourable New Zealand High Commissioner
His Excellency Mr David Pine, the Honourable New Zealand High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, recently visited several key initiatives run by the Vimukthi Foundation. The Ambassador toured the Noble International School, Noble Friends, and Noble Health Care projects, gaining first-hand insight into the Foundation’s community-driven work.
The High Commissioner expressed deep admiration for the scope and quality of services provided by the initiatives. He was particularly impressed by the healthcare support extended to residents of the monastery through Noble Health Care, acknowledging the compassionate and professional care being delivered.
At Noble International School, the High Commissioner had the opportunity to interact with students, noting their multilingual abilities and strong presentation skills. Their confidence and communication reflected the high educational standards upheld by the Foundation.
A key highlight of the visit was Mr Pine's engagement with some of the rehabilitants supported through the Foundation’s recovery programmes. The success stories and transformative impact of these initiatives left a lasting impression on the Ambassador.
