The Vimukthi Foundation was deeply honoured to receive a commemorative plaque at the World Blood Donor Day Commemoration Ceremony held on 14 June 2026 at the BMICH, Colombo. This recognition was presented in appreciation of our commitment and contribution as a voluntary blood donation campaign organiser, supporting the life-saving mission of the National Blood Transfusion Service of Sri Lanka.

This honour belongs to every volunteer, blood donor, partner, and supporter who has stood with us throughout our Noble Blood Donation Campaigns. Together, we have helped save countless lives through the simple act of giving. We are grateful for this recognition and remain committed to inspiring more people to donate blood and make a lasting difference in their communities.
