Noble Roots Initiative, launched by the Vimukthi Foundation, is a fresh environmental project dedicated to restoring and conserving Sri Lanka’s natural ecosystems. It focuses on activities like tree planting, forest restoration, conserving water and community engagement—empowering volunteers to help rehabilitate native landscapes by combining ecological work with environmental education, Noble Roots aims to nurture both the land and its local communities, fostering a long-lasting culture of sustainability under the foundation’s guiding principles of freedom, compassion, and noble values.
